We believe in one God, who eternally exists in a trinity: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. Each being fully God, but being one God.
We believe that God is the creator of all things, both visible and invisible, creator of man through his love, wisdom, word and power. (Gen. 1:1; Deut. 6:4; Isa. 44:6; John 1:1; Matt. 28:19; II Cor. 13:14; Heb. 1:8-10)
We affirm that God’s sovereignty includes His dominion and supreme authority. He can decide to do whatever he wants and when he wants, allowing everything to advance his eternal plans, that is not contrary to his character. No one can manipulate God with demands, gifts, prayers or conditions. (Acts 4:24; 1 Tim. 3:13-16; Jud. 4; Ps. 115:3; Ps. 135:6; John 5:30; Juan. 6:38)
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ and in his real incarnation through the virginal conception of Mary by the work of the Holy Spirit. (John 1:1; Heb. 1:8-10; John 5:20; Matt. 1:18-25; 1 John. 4:2-3))
We believe in the work of our Lord Jesus Christ, his sinless life, his example, his teaching, and his miracles. We believe that his sufferings, death on the cross, shedding of his precious blood, and bodily resurrection were absolutely necessary for the salvation of men; therefore God has established it as the only and sufficient means of redemption available to mankind. (Isa. 52:13-53; Matt. 1:21; 26:28; Luc. 11:46; Hec. 3:13-15; 4:12; I Tim. 1:15; 2:5; 3:16; Heb. 7:22-28; 9:28; 1:3; Rom. 8:34; Hec. 1:11; Apoc. 22:12)
We believe in the Holy Spirit, vicar of our Lord Jesus Christ, in his regenerative and illuminating work to the mankind, enabling him to serve God, the church and his neighbor. (John 15:26; 16:7-8; 20:22, Luke 3:16; 24:49; Hec. 1:8; 2:14; Rom. 8:9)
We affirm that our faith rests on the absolute authority of the Holy Scriptures inspired by God which are our only source of Christian doctrine and life. (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:21)
We affirm that the Holy Scriptures call us to fight for the faith once given to the saints. This faith is sound by its source and its scope, and it is the duty of the Church to uphold and defend it We must do so with unwavering vehemence in the essentials and be open to dialogue on aspects secondary to it. (Jud. 3; 1 Tim. 3:15)
We affirm that the Holy Scriptures must be correctly interpreted in accordance with elementary hermeneutic principles that include knowledge of the socio-cultural environment of the original recipients, as well as the immediate context of the passages. Any actualization of the meaning of the Sacred Scriptures whether by typology, symbology, analogy or allegory must respect and be in accordance with the general teaching of all Scriptures, recognizing that they have been progressively revealed reaching their fulfillment and fullness in Jesus Christ, and consequently in the New Testament writings. he Holy Scriptures are divinely inspired, infallible and inerrant, but not their interpretation. (Heb. 1:1-2; Tit. 2:1; 2 Pet. 1:19-21)
We believe that God made mankind: man and woman in His own image to know and live with God. llMankind willingly rejected the lordship and glory of God for which it was created, now creation experiences the consequences of sin. (Gen. 1:27-30; Gen. 3:1-24)
All men and women, who bear the image of God, must represent God in his creation. God declares that the created order is very good, distinguishing men and women as its agents to care for, administer, and govern it. They enjoy equal access to God through faith in Christ Jesus and both are called to move beyond passive complacency toward meaningful public and private participation in family, ecclesiastical and civic life. Adam and Eve were made to complement each other in a one-flesh union in the covenant of marriage that establishes the only Pattern of God-ordained sexual relations for men and women. (Gen. 1:27-30, 1 Cor. 10:31)
We believe that by the disobedience of Adam and Eve, sin entered into all mankind and therefore every person is spiritually dead, under the power of sin. Every person is incapable of saving himself and is exposed to eternal damnation. We believe that we can only be saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, repenting of all sins and putting faith in the atoning work of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. Then, a person experiences the new birth by the power of the Holy Spirit for a transformed life and to obey the divine will. (Gen. 3:1-24; Ps. 51:5; Rom. 1:18-32; 3:9-20; 21-26; 29-30; Heb. 8:6-13; 10:10-23:1; 1 Cor. 5:17; Rom. 12:1-12)
We affirm that God’s grace is God’s undeserved favor toward mankind, the source of our salvation and all its blessings. (Eph. 2:8; Tit. 2:11; Rom. 3:4; Hec. 15:11)
We affirm that salvation is a gift from God to man that becomes effective when a person repents by putting his faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is given by grace without any human work, since the sacrifice of Jesus Christ is sufficient to atone for our sins. Therefore, salvation and its benefits cannot be commercialized since Christ paid only once and forever for us. (John 3:16; Efe. 2:8-9; Rom. 1:16; Heb. 10:12)
We affirm that as a result of our salvation by the grace of God we receive justification, regeneration, adoption, initial sanctification, being the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit. This allows us to live in newness of life under the loving care and provision of the heavenly Father pouring out upon us divine healing, integral prosperity, and protection from enemies, within an environment of faith, love, and constant obedience as believers. (Rom. 5:1; 1 Cor. 1:29)
We affirm that prayer is the way by which we can communicate directly with God. Prayer demonstrates our dependence on God as His children. Through prayer we can exalt and praise Him, give Him gratitude, and intercede for the needs of our fellowmen and our own. We are convinced that we must be praying at all times; that the prayer of faith will save the sick; God hears the prayer of the righteous and if we ask for anything according to His will, He hears us. As long as our prayer is aligned with His will, we will receive whatever we ask for. (Eph. 6:18; Phil. 4:6; Sant. 5:15; Pr.15:29; 1 John 5:14-15)
We affirm that offerings should be a demonstration of a grateful heart that recognizes that everything we possess comes from the hand of God. Offerings must be presented to God voluntarily and used for the advancement of His kingdom. Offerings should not be used as a means to buy favors from God or to want to enrich oneself with them. Every believer is a steward of what God gives him and will have to hold him accountable for it. (Ps.145:16; Efe. 1:3; Gen. 4:4; Ps. 96:8; Prov. 3:9)
We affirm that when there are differences between us we must proceed in accordance with the provisions of our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 18:15-20 and thus avoid bringing our disagreements before those who do not share our faith. We must forgive each other, just as God forgave us in Christ. We cannot be ministers of reconciliation unless we show reconciliation among ourselves. (1 Cor. 6:1-7; Efe. 4:32; 2 Cor. 5:18-19)
We affirm that God’s purpose is for the Church to be visibly united in truth, since all Christians come from one seed, by which all people have been reconciled into one body through the cross. Our unity is nourished by diversity and should not be identified with uniformity We are brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ, and each a member of God’s family. We have one God and Father of all, one mind in common that is the mind of Christ, and we are led by the Holy Spirit, built to the indwelling of God in the Spirit. (Eph. 4:13; Gal. 3:16; Efe. 2:16; 1 Cor. 12:4-31; Efe. 4:4; Phil. 2:5; Efe. 2:22)
At present, the forms of popular religiosity induce the human being to religious syncretism, to the relativization of truth and the search for immediate success without moral considerations. In spite of this, the message of the Church must remain biblical and Christocentric, emphasizing in all the activities and practices of the Church to foster the integral development of believers as disciples committed to Jesus Christ, to the local Church, to the unity of the Church and to the nation in which we are immersed, avoiding all possible forms of religious manipulation. (2 Cor. 4:2; 2:17; 1 Pet. 5:2-4)
We believe in the Holy Universal Church formed by all those who, by virtue of their repentance and faith in Jesus Christ and subsequently the baptism by the Holy Spirit, have been redeemed and united to the Body of Christ at all times and places having Jesus Christ Himself as their Head. Head. We believe that this church manifests itself visibly through local congregations. We believe in the unity of believers in Jesus Christ which can and should be expressed in worship, communion, training, testimony, and joint service. (Matt. 6:18; Efe. 1:22-23; 4:1-6; 5:24-27; Col. 1:18; 1 Cor. 3:11; 4:17)
We believe that the church has been set by God, so through the power of the Holy Spirit, it may be faithful witnesses of his Word, love, and gospel, leading every person to the ends of the earth and to the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Matt. 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-16; Luc. 24:45-49; John 20:21-23; Hec. 1:7-8)
We believe that the Church must seek, in fidelity to the Scriptures, every form of witness and service in her own midst. Also, every Christian must express his faith by the virtues of love, truth, honesty, peace, dedicated work, purity, kindness, justice, and good works. (Rom. 12:13-14; 18-21; Efe. 2:10; Phil. 1:11; 4:8; 1 Ped. 3:8-16)
We confess the separation of church and state because both have their own different functions given by God. We respect the patriotic symbols, the civil authorities and we pray for them. However, the church in its faith, government, witness, and action acts independently, and in conflicting cases, its final obedience will be guided by the teachings of the Holy Scriptures and its faithfulness to the Lord.r.
We recognize that the Lord continues to raise up men and women with ministries and spiritual gifts for the edification of the Church and that we do good to hear the voice of God’s servants. The use of the gifts must be within the provisions of the Holy Scriptures. (1 Cor. 11:29; 1 Thess. 5:20-21)
We recognize that the devil and forces hostile to the kingdom of God try to get us stuck in internal discussions and disagreements that distract us from working in the effective fulfillment of our mission, which includes the proclamation of the kingdom of God, committed discipleship, the involvement of all believers in the fulfillment of the task entrusted by God, integral growth, joyful celebration of redemption, and liberation from all bondage. (Eph. 6:12; 1 Cor. 3:3; Efe. 4:11-16; Col.1:13-14)
We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ will return in physical and visible form with power and great glory, will snatch away His faithful people and with all the power that as Lord correspond to him, will consummate a kingdom. He has given signs of his unmistakable coming for every eye will see him. The second appearance of our Lord is the supreme hope of God’s people. (Matt. 24:29-44; Hec. 1:9-11; 1 Cor. 15:23-28; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; Heb. 9:27-28; Apoc. 1:7; 22:12-20)
