Bio

Co-founder of the congregation, pastor and worship minister for more than 17 years. Derek is passionate about establishing and expanding the Church of Christ. Along with his wife Andrea, he has contributed to the comprehensive development of various ministries preaching the Gospel both in Costa Rica and other countries.

Derek has a Phd. in theology with enfasis in eclesiology from UNELA, completing an international internship in Phoenix Seminar. He has a master’s degree in project management from the University for International Cooperation with a background as a systems engineer from ITCR.

Professionally, he is a founding partner of several companies and had extensive work experience working for several transnationals, before the pastoral body invited him to take the position of general pastor in El Olivo.
